Strapless bras are a must in any woman’s lingerie, especially during the summer months when bare shoulders are desirable. Your new dress for the dance is drop-dead gorgeous, but it’s a strapless dresses and you don’t have a bra to wear with it. You’re afraid a strapless bra will slide right down your midriff while you’re dancing with that hunk from the football team. To keep that from happening, arm yourself with some bra-knowledge and buy your strapless bra with confidence. Strapless bra provide support and create cleavage without showing unattractive bra straps. But choosing and wearing the right strapless bra can be a headache if you’re not careful.

Frist, when you go to buy a stapless bra, for a proper fitting, consult the employees at your favorite lingerie store. If you are uncomfortable with this, use a tape measure to size yourself at home. Second, choosing a color that won’t show through your dress. You can spend all day choosing the proper fit but if you go to the dance and your bright purple bra is showing through your beautiful white dresses you won’t have a good time. Unless, of course, that’s the effect you were going for.

Third, buy some bra adhesive just for safety’s sake. You may feel as though the bra fits like your own skin, but you didn’t walk around in it for 6 hours. The adhesive is just a little added security so that your strapless bra will make your dress, and your evening a memorable.
